WHERE IT ALL
BEGAN:
May 13, 14, 2011
Following the implementation of
the War Measures Act, a systematic
evacuation of Japanese Canadians
into the remote ghost towns of
interior BC followed.

In midst of the chaos and
confusion, God prepared Margaret
Ridgway to carry the message of
HOPE through the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.

... This was the beginning of the
Japanese Christian evangelical
movement in Canada.

Human Tragedy Unfolding in Japan
at
Gracepoint Fellowship
(Calgary Japanese Gospel Church)
Haunting images part of life in Japan today
years
The aftermath of the 9.0 earthquake and the resulting 10 meter
tsunami has left the eastern shoreline of Tohoku in a devastated
condition never before seen in this country.

In midst of the devastation and chaos, wonderful stories of rescue
emerge from the rubbles. Gallant efforts are being made by both
the national and international rescue teams working alongside
each other. God protect them in their often dangerous situation
they work in.

Another part of the human tragedy are those of the living.
Thousands are displaced and homeless. Temporary shelters,
schools, sport arenas, town halls and wherever floors space is
available becomes the temporary sleeping quarters for many. The
mounting uncertainties of the nuclear fallout is now compounding
the threat to human lives. In midst of these conditions, emotional
and psychological pressures are enormous. All will be in need of
healing from the physical to the inner man. God speed men and
women who are able to aid and to minister to both body and soul.
As time goes by, PTSD will become a growing menace to society.
Bringing HOPE is as crucial as bringing bread.

The initiative to promote the training of lay chaplaincy to respond
to crisis situations which CJM assisted in the initial stages is ready
to leave on the 27th of this month. Now under the sponsorship of
Forerunner Prayer Force the trainers will work in Japan in
conjunction with CRASH Japan. Your prayers and financial
support is vital to the success and touching of many lives in Japan
today. Please do your best to support this initiative. You may send
