Welcome to the Official
First up we are not a hockey team, we are a softball team!! Do not confuse the two. Also we are not the Jets, many teams have referred us as the Jets. That is just simply not true. Our team should never be mentioned with the Winnipeg Jets, since we are not worthy of such a name. Recent News July 30, 2005 GAME NOTES Judges vs BASIC 14-7 WIN The lineup was altered 1 minute before the game to accommodate some late players. Some Highlights of the game. The game started off with a Solo HR by Jesse Nakayama hit over everyone's heads. The slowest double play was turned by the Judges. It looked like we were watching slow motion video. But none the less 2 outs on one play!! In the rookie watch Adam went 2-3 with 1 Error and Paul went 1-3 with no errors. Paul was saved of an error with the benefit of an arm pit catch. Other notes: Kevin was the last out. When Kevin fields the ball never comes to him (That's a Fact!!) July 23, 2005 GAME NOTES Judges vs Lumas 15-8 Loss The judges were shut out for the first 5 innings until Ken came to the rescue with a monster 2 run shot in the 6th innings. The top the 7th inning feature the following defensive lineup. Paul 1B, Jen 2B, Ohki SS, Shih 3B, Bessie CF, Stephen RF, Ken LF, Brad RR, Angie LR, Tsubasa C. All players playing positions they've never played!! And the judges held them to zero runs. Lumas had the bases loaded! The judges were down 15-2 going into the 8th inning. The Judges scored 6 runs to make the game respectable. Poor base running ended the game prematurely. In other notes: Chris Chai hit the pitcher 2 times in this game. A new Judges record for Hit Pitcher in a game. Socs vs Judges 14-16 WIN As satellite coverage was down there are no game notes for this game. The only thing known is that the Ball did not go to Kevin. July 22, 2005 GAME NOTES ONE vs Judges 29-10 Loss The game started so good. A monster shot was hit to Right Field and the Rookie Sensation ran back and as he fell made a spectacular catch. As the Crowd chanted Paul Paul Paul. The bottom half of the inning was followed up with a Monster 3 Run shot by Ken Bailie. Looked like the game was well in control. Then the wheels started turning. And the runs started mounting for the other team and runs became scarce for the Judges. The top of the 5th inning featured the following defensive assignments. 4 Foot 9 1st basemen Brad, center fielder Stephen and Ken at Short Stop. On one play ken pick up a weak grounder and had a 5 foot throw and launched it into the outfield. On another play a high fly ball was hit to center field. Stephen stared at the ball and watched it fall in front of him before moving. In the End the Judges surrendered 8 more runs. Bringing the final score to 29-10. A dismal performance Injury News: First Basemen Ken Bailie was hit in the head by a line drive pitching to Brad. For unknown reason we inserted Ken to play Short Stop for the 8th inning after knowing that there could be potential brain damage. July 21, 2005 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR RACE
