With so many people in charge of doing the dishes, we decided to start our own project.  Project clean.  We took the dirtiest pan we could find and attempted to make it as clean as possible.  Here bellow shows a before an after picture.  Special thanks to all who participated.  It took more than 10 different people scrubbing at different times to come up with effort.

Recent Archeological findings found a drawing done of Akiko.  Carbon Dating techniques have dated the drawing to September 2001.  Scientific evidence shows that the drawing was done by Hitoshi.  There is strong evidence that this was done on the same day that our all star right fielder Jyri received a Kancho from Hitoshi.

Stop asking me who drew it!!!

Injuries at an inopportune time hit the Judges before games.  Eugene gets hit by the ball and requires stitched before our first game.  Chika gets his first playing time all season and goes 2-2 as a DH.  As usual the judges have a slow start.  the Slingers score 5 runs in the first 2 innings.  However the stingy defense held them to 7 runs total and came out on top 10-7 for its first playoff win in the modern era.

The second round started with another injury Jesse was hit into by the ball in the knee during practice and was unable to play in the 2nd round.  In the same fashion as the first game ewe let in 5 runs in the first 2 innings.  Starting in the hole to start the game.  The rest of the game we outplayed the oracles but could not make up the 5 run deficit.  And our season came to an end with a 13-9 loss.

  • Yu Yano's hit in the 8th inning gave him is first hit in the lead off spot, going 1-9 hitting leadoff this season.

  • Brad and Ryan went a combined 8-8 and scoring 6 runs in the playoffs

PLAYOFF FEVER!!

It has begun!  The Judges were ranked 4th in Division C and 11th overall.  Our first opponent are the slingers.  Jason and Chika had the chance to eat Pho with them, and tell them all our trade secrets.  Like the amazing Scott Ohashi bunt singles.  But none the less we're there!!

Beverly Glen 3:30pm is the game.  Be there 1 hour before the game.  We want to warm up and have a bit of a chat before the game.

The judges started the season 4-0 and had high hopes and promise of an undefeated season.  3 consecutive losses to finish the season has caused an uproar from the fans.  The board of directors have unanimously decided to fire its president of softball operations and general manager Kazu Tokuyama.  Since roster changes cannot be made at this time no decisions will need to be made for the playoffs.  Look for coach Kim to be on the hot seat.  Since taking over operations from the now assistant coach, the Judges have gone 2-3.  A first round exit of the playoffs will result in a major shake up of the front office personnel.
